New CDC Resources for Flu, COVID and RSV (SNF/AL)

The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) created a webpage, Resources to Prepare for Flu, COVID-19, and RSV. It features toolkits and resources for a variety of audiences, including specific resources for long-term care, that will help members prepare for the 2023-2024 respiratory virus season. The resources include comprehensive clinical guidance along with printed materials that may be used for messaging. Of particular note, the CDC released:

• The Vaccine Information Sheet (VIS) for the updated COVID-19 vaccination and
• An updated VIS for Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) on their Current VIS webpage.
