HCAM Unveils New Mission Statement

Over the summer, HCAM undertook an initiative to update our mission statement to one that is more reflective of the association serving both skilled nursing facilities and assisted living communities. We conducted significant research and formed a workgroup of nursing facility and assisted living members as well as association staff to make sure our mission statement addresses what we do, who we do it for, how we do it and why we do it. We’re excited to debut our new mission statement and tagline.

Mission Statement: As Michigan’s most influential advocate for skilled nursing and assisted living providers, the Health Care Association of Michigan’s mission is to drive initiatives and deliver solutions, enabling providers to advance excellence in senior care.

Tagline: Driving initiatives and delivering solutions for skilled nursing and assisted living since 1948

Our new mission statement and tagline will help ensure that we remain laser focused on advocating for the sector, driving initiatives and delivering solutions to advance excellence in senior care.
