Nursing Facility Infection Control Grant Overview

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services will provide an in-depth overview of how to apply for the second round of Infection Control Grants to support structural and operational improvements to skilled nursing facilities to reduce the spread of infectious disease. This grant opportunity, available to both skilled nursing facilities that have not yet applied and skilled nursing facilities previously awarded less than the total grant amount of $65,000 will reopen for proposal on January 9, 2023. For facilities that previously were awarded less than the total grant amount, this second opportunity would equal the difference between any already awarded grant amount and $65,000.
