Contact CMS regarding the Proposed Rule for the SNF Payment System FY 2023! (SNF)

On April 11th, CMS released the proposed rule, FY 2023 Skilled Nursing Facility (SNFs) Prospective Payment System Rate Update and Quality Reporting Requirements (CMS-1765). Due to the proposed parity adjustment, CMS estimates that the net market basket update would decrease Medicare SNF payments by approximately $320 million. The rule would also increase staffing ratios.

Please contact CMS through AHCA’s website HERE, and submit your personal message detailing your challenges and why this rule should be amended and/or delayed. AHCA is hoping for thousands of messages, as that has resulted in rule changes in the profession’s favor in the past. Please lend your voice to this very important effort!
