MDHHS Launches 2024 Michigan Nurse Licensure Survey (SNF/AL)
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Office of Nursing Safety and Workforce Planning (MDHHS-ONP) gathers data from Michigan’s nursing workforce to support informed policy, strategic planning and initiatives. This collaborative effort is intended to inform nursing workforce policy and planning as well as grant writers who use the survey results. Information collected includes the geographic, demographic, educational and employment characteristics of nurses in Michigan. The identity of individual respondents is kept confidential and only aggregate data is reported. This information is crucial to ensure that Michigan has an adequate supply of nurses. The organizations involved in this effort include: the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA), Bureau of Professional Licensing (BPL); the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Nursing Safety and Workforce Planning (MDHHS-ONP), and the Michigan Public Health Institute (MPHI).
MDHHS-ONP requests that licensed nurses complete this 5-to-10-minute 2024 survey by February 29, 2024.
